Magnesium 25 Metal (Magnesium-25) is a stable (non-radioactive) isotope of Magnesium. See below table for ENSDF Citation and Half Life. It is both naturally occurring and a produced by fission. Magnesium 25 Metal is one of over 250 stable Metallic isotopes produced by American Elements for biological and biomedical labeling, as target materials and other applications. Magnesium Metal 25 additionally has special application in noninvasive studies of human nutrition requirements, metabolism, and absorption. Also has special application in the kinetic study of heart disease and vascular problems. Magnesium Metal is also available in ultra high purity and as nanoparticles. For thin film applications it is available as rod, pellets, pieces, granules and sputtering targets and as either an ingot or powder. Magnesium Metal 25 isotopic material is generally immediately available. Additional technical, research and safety (MSDS) information is available.
Magnesium is a Block S, Group 2, Period 3 element. The electronic configuration is [Ne] 3s2. In its elemental form magnesium's CAS number is 7439-95-4. The magnesium atom has a radius of 159.9.pm and it's Van der Waals radius is 173.pm. |
